Heya all,
I managed to locate the upgraded Navi ECU/drive for a great price from the US (upgraded from 2002 to the 2005). Upon install, it now wont read the Australian Map disc, shows disc error. It reads the North American disc it came with fine, but wont read either my "back-up/updated" burnt disc or even my original WhereIS Toyota (Australia) disc.

I didnt expect this problem when i ordered it.
So, whats peoples thoughts? Is the drive hardware region coded?
Im wondering if there is anyway to write the Aussie disc as US region coded?

Funny thing is the language on the prompt screen is both English and Japanese...
