Default opinions!

i just picked up an 02 ls430 that has stock air but its a non ul meaning no rear cooler or massage seats! so i figure id ask everyones opinion on weather i should just keep it or find a ul and trade or buy it. i mean to begin with i wanted an ul but it ws hard to find one so i just bought the closest one i could find to an ul. so i figured id ask is it really that worth it to own an ul?? like do those rear cooler and seats come in use or is it just a good to have kinda thing or just cause it lloks nice or more luxury??

Thaks.

Why spend extra for something you will never use? How often do you ride in the back of your own car?

I had massage seats in my 1990 celsior, and never once used them. All it was good for was the compliments I got when people sat in the back.

I don't want my rear passengers too comfortable.

No point unless you get chauffeured often. Even then the 'standard' rear is quite comfy

When out with another couple on a Friday night, I end up in the back seat with the other guy for the ride home. Not being the DD, it is what it is, so Lean back and massage baby.

If you live in a hot climate, the rear A/C is a real bonus. Since it has it's own freon supply, evaporater, blower, ducts deliver above the rear doors, it really helps cool the whole interior of the car down and keep it cool.

Worth every penny her3 in Phoenix.

I have never touched my fridge, or know how to use it. the rear settings are annoying when ur passengers keep messing with the radio(i dont know if i can disable them from changing it). I find no use, but it IS cool to have.

The rear fridge has a small sliding door at the top, which you can close or open to allow A/C air into the fridge.

The rear controls can be locked to make all the rear button inoperative. Just push down the MODE button and hold for 3 seconds. To unlock this function, push and hold the MODE button until you hear a beep.

This works unless you reveal how it works to your rear passengers. Just don't tell the kids (or grandkids) how it works.
