2002 LS430 UL 65000 mi.

I understand it is possible to set the driver's seat so that it will move back(retract) when the key is removed from the ignitiion for easy acess, and then return to the pre-set when the key is put back in the ignition. If this is true and someone tell me how to make this happen.

My tip. Did you know that when you are in the trunk for spare tire or whatever, the you can hook the trunk mat and cardboard retainer to the bottom side of the trunk lid to hold it up.

 

if the seat position with engine off is available I would imagine it is a dealer tweak to the customize settings,,

there use to be a list of all available items but can't find it,,

The retraction of the seat when the key is removed was not available on the '02 model. When we got ours (new) the sales person recommended moving the seat all the way back and then set that position as memory #3 - turn the car off, press memory button 3, get out; get in, press button #1 (or 2) and drive away.
