Members with 20" wheels, need your input on tire sizes
Hey guys,
Recently bought a set of Wald Duchatelet 3pc, F20x9, R20x10, i dont know what the offset is yet but i dont think it will be a problem.
My question to you is, what size tires should I run? I had 20x9 f/r on my LS400 with 255/35/20 and all around, worked great. Im more concerned with the rear than the front tho, if i have to have the tires stretched to fit i will but id rather go with lk a 275/30(35)/20.....
ill find out the offset when i get them on tuesday, but in the meantime can i get some suggestions from you guys?
much appreciated

it really depends on what you are going for. if you want to slam your car down and tuck the wheels, or do you want to ride high (stock height) and be super comfy, or maybe you want to run on springs that give it an inch or so drop and you want to run somewhat sporty which is in the middle between the previous 2 choices.
running super low (low pro): 225x30x20 & 245x30x20
running somewhat sporty (middle pro): 245x30x20 & 275x30x20
running high and somewhat comfy (beefy): 245x35x20 & 265x35x20

This is how i plan on having the car sit. I have the air suspension so ill be riding high for even wear on the tires but lower it when i feel like it. "Normal" setting is low, "high" setting is now normal. should have clarified this, thanks

I am running 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 and it looks good and clean (very little wheel well gap). i wish i could go with a 35 on the rear, but dont want to lose the look.

i would have to agree with both of you,,
hey 04lson20 do you have the datasystems controller or just the stock air? if no controller it won't sit like that, if you do have the controller it will sit about like that on the 9 setting if my memory is correct or possibly a half inch higher on the 9 setting than in that pic above. i am not on the stock air susp anymore, it went out and now i have coilovers.

Stock, Ive played with the sensors so I have it pretty close to where I want it but they can always be adjusted.
I've contemplated coilovers since I've bought the car because of the stories I've heard. Since you've made the switch sojah what are you running? Was is pretty much just rip the old stuff out and bolt up the coilovers?
Guess the only reason I haven't switches is because the ride is so smooth. I'd sacrifice comfort for looks
