@ -25mm drop:
Front 19X9 +31 with 245/40's. (no stretch)
Rear 19X10 +38 with 245/40 (stretched) Could go down to a +32 but cant confirm.
@ -55mm drop:
Front 19X9 +31 with 245/40's rubs hard. Cant drive it. Have to drop down to stretched 225/40
Rear 19X10 +38 with 245/40 (stretched) + 5mm spacer just clears.
As the OP's question was whats the maximum offsets for no guard work, @ 55mm drop, with 40 series stretched tires, the answer would be:
55mm Down:
F:19X9 +31 R:19X10 +32.
Lower profile tires would marginally change this, but not by much. Ill post pics later tonight of the new -55mm drop setup.

question i am about to order 20 inch wheel 20x8.5 + 38 offset and the rear i wanted to do 20x10 + 38 now i am wondering with the rear can i do 2x10 + 20 offset or would that be to much??

without rolling fenders lowered on coilovers i guess around +25 with a stretched tire (like a 245x30x20 or 255x30x20). with rolled rear fenders then around +20 with shaved rear fenders around +15 all with the same size rear tires and on a 10" wide rear rim. give or take a few mm but i know i can't be that far off. with a mild pull of the rear fender around 10mm and the longer than stock rear arms adding more negative camber you could run a 0 or -5mm if you were on a 245x30x20 on a 20x10" rear rim. all these specs would be very flush with the tire up agains the fender all close like
please let me know if anyone else has a different opinion or real world knowledge...

+38 will give you about a 3.5" rear lip,, semi med-low on the aggressive scale in my opinion
just get your rear fenders rolled real thin or shaved thin and with a 245-265x30x20 tire you should be good in the rear with no issues.

thanl you now would i have to change the arms in the back or i can get away with just leaving it stock sorry for all the question but im just trying to get it right the first time with out being mad ... im getting told to do a 38 offset at the rims shop and buy space but i guess they are not understanding the look i want smh( shaking my head)

i know the thread is a lil old but i figured i would ask here instead of starting a whole new thread for 1 question. I'm looking at a 20x11 wheel with a +15 offset. now i will be lowered on coilovers with these wheels and was wondering what kind of (-) camber i will be looking at with this setup? tires size is undertermined thus far but will be a good stretch for sure.

negative camber increases as you lower the car more and more. you can always add more negative camber (take away more positive camber ) by messing with arms and what not.
use the http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp offset calculator to figure out how much more poke than my example setup (+20 on a 10").
so it looks like your gonna have about 18mm more poke than i did in the above example. this means you should prolly run the 5mm longer than stock arms (to increase negative camber), maybe a 245 -265 x30x20 tire and definitely shave the fenders and may have to do a mild 3mm pull of the rears.
***if you haven't already ordered the wheels yet i would highly recommend to ask for the smaller face wheels or what low disk right?? i think low disk is the thinner one and high disk is the thicker one but you need to check on this one so as to make sure you get the thinner faced wheels then you wouldn't need to pull the fenders at all

Well guys my plan would be this tell me if this would work or give me some feedback on what I should do;
I own a set of Work VSXX front 20x9 +26-- thinking of going 235/30/20---rear-20x10 +32 and rear tire 245/30/20-- I really wanna add a 15mm spacer in the rear.Can i add a spacer as such? As long i work with the camber in the rear it will fit. Well my plan is for the lowering would be BC coilovers and Megan camber arms for the rear so I can mess with the camber. I just think 30's series tires seem super thin to drive on an LS430.Now for sure I will cut the rear inner panels not roll for sure... As far with this set up will I need to roll the front a little bit to make this set up work? I am thinking of dropping the car about same height of sojah--LS. And if I am missing anything else please help me out guys.... Can wait to show you guys pictures of the car once done--- at the moment the car is going through a color change it's MATTE ????? And it's not black.

i would recommend a 225x35x20 front and a 245x35x20 rear for a stretched look or even a 265x30x20 if you dont' want to run so stretched. you will be able to run that offset in the rear with a 15mm spacer if you have shaved rear fenders. i would recommend getting them all shaved real thin, then if you have to pull out the fronts at all it will be super easy,, i just pulled my front fenders out perfectly a few weekends ago myself and it came out excellent. but you have to have ur fenders shaved first, not rolled in order to pull them out properly.
