Default LS430 Bluetooth problems

I have a 2006 LS430 with NAV/Bluetooth - I love the Bluetooth capablility, and it's worked beautifully.

However, recently, when I call either through my phone or through the card interface - there is no sound at all. The call connects but there is no sound on either end. I have to disconnect from the bluetooth interface and continue the call on my cell phone. VERY IRRITATING!

Not clear why this has happened all of a sudden - it has worked beautifully before.

I've tried deleting my phone and re-adding it to no avail. The voice command works poorly as always (LOL!) so I'm assuming that the car mic is working properly.

I have no answer for you as my bluetooth works as designed (mediocre). I just wanted to welcome you to the forum!

I do get a signal - it's the same phone that worked perfectly before - when I start up, I get the "Bluetooth successfully connected", the BT color signal is blue, and plenty of signal on the antenna. I'm really not sure what's going on. I may have to end up going to the dealer...sigh.....

Do you have other Bluetooth phones and how are they working with your 06 LS ... reason I ask is that 99% of the time it's a problem with the phone.

If the phone is incompatible with the car, it wouldn't have worked so well in the past. Have you tried to pair another phone with the car? That would help identify if the new problem is with your phone or the car.

Did you update or change the software in the car (which I highly doubt)? If not, then it probably is your phone. Did you update the software? Change a setting by accident? Go throuh your entire settings menus and make sure you don't have anything changed. If none of that works, try setting the phone back to default or reformat and reinstall the software.
