I did my math wrong. Bought it 4 turning 5 in january years ago. Heh messed my math up. About 30k miles. I think i did say 20-30k miles. I may have not, sorry for the confusion. He had if i remember right a new s500 a gs a bmw 7 and this s430. I was looking for a first car and he needed to get rid of the s430. I offered him 8 and he took it. Srry if i was confusing, i dont get enough sleep worrying about the problems my w220 is prone to.

No again you misunderstood. It had 50k miles on it. I put around 30k miles a year on it. Which is what i said on the other thread. Dont know where you got 20k from. That averages about 100 miles a day more or less but that would be nj to nyc and occassional bussiness trips. All that in mind 197k miles seems about right.

 

Your #s was all over the place from multiple posts, now it make sense.

Still though a 50k miles 5 years old S430 for $8k is awefully cheap. Very generous uncle I guess.

 

Yeah. I guess it didnt matter to him after all, he made more money with that car, limo company, then he paid for it. So the 50k miles were mostly slow traffic new york city miles.

 

Nothing like them slow NYC miles : )
