This may have been already discussed before, but I couldn't find anything using the search. What options / features can the dealer program based on customers request. For example, I'm sure they can disable daytime running lights, and have the unlock button open all the doors by pressing it just once.

I'm sure there's a lot more. Anyone that has a list, I would really appreciate it. Also, want to know if any of these are programmable without going to the dealer.

 

They can also disable the tilt away feature that the steering wheel has.

 

It took a while to find, but I knew I'd seen it here. Maybe a mod could add it as a FAQ if it's not already hidden in there.

Attached is the same list in a format you can print and more easily browse. I think the customizable settings did not change throughout the LS430 model years.

Anybody who has the diagnostic tester and appropriate program card can change the settings - doesn't have to be a Lexus dealer.
