Does anyone know how I can get access to the "dealer only" settings? There are a series of settings that can "only" be set by the dealer, but I was wondering if anyone know the way to do it w/o having to visit the dealership to get it done.

 

Search for "Carista". They have an app and hardware to access. Works great.

 

Your should be searching for "lexus personalized settings". Don't know what year your car is so you can try this link for the Gs350 to start. The forum also has a wealth of info. Good luck!

Yes, that's the pdf that I looked at but the part that I'm interested in is the "dealer only" section. I want to be able to change the settings like window roll down with the unlock button. btw, it's a 2015 GS350.

 

Carista will let you change that setting.

Some might charge but my local one, pull up, service writer goes and grabs a tech with techstream, they turn it on and you're on your way. You could always call your local dealer and ask

Carista allows you to access and change more settings than you knew existed. Need the app for google or iPhone PLUS the Carista dongle; $49, I think on Amazon.

 

Do you think you will only change the setitngs once? If so, it would be ok at the dealership.
I like being able to adjust anything on a whim. With Carista, no appointment, driving to the dealer, and for sure no cost after the modest initial investment.
Even if the dealer was free for life , I would use the Carista app. My time (wasted at a dealership) is worth more to me.

 

For the 2015 GS350, does anyone know if the Carista dongle can adjust the Auto Lock by Speed?
Because in 2015, Auto Lock by Speed is not adjustable in the Menu System.

 

Where do we plug this Carista dongle into?

 

Could someone post a how to video?
