I had the same thing happen to me with an Accord. My arm was always making small adjustments as I drove it it was tired as hell after a week. I made the mistake of putting a S rated tire on when it a T rated was the minimum OEM. They took the tires back they sat in the corner for a year as they tried to sell them and my problem went away instantly. Why did you get a T rated tire it calls for a H or even a V? Most places will not sell you a lower rated tire even if you ask for this very reason
- What did they way was wrong with both of the rear lower control arms?
- Avoid the Energy tires. I had them on my MKZ as factory tires. There were whiny and the wet traction was poor.
- You live if a large metro area and there should be some good suspension shops to look at your car.
They said I need a different size control arm put on the car in order to bring the rear camber into factory spec. I would never by Energy tires again. And I am planning on letting another shop look at it.

Assuming that the suspension design is similar in the LS, I would probably guess that new rear control won't do anything...other than relieve you of $1200. Honest my car drives smooth as hell, no vibration or shimmy at any speed.
Depending on which alignent I believe, the rear camber on one (or both) wheels is slightly out of spec. Lexus said to replace both. The other first allignment shop said not to woory about the small off spec. camber on the one side. ( not 2 sides like Lexus said )

I already returned the Hankook tires last week, and replaced them with Conti Extreme Contact DWS. Are you saying to take the Conti tires back too ? why ?
Reading the first post I wanted to say "control arms or control arm bushes", but I see that someone (Lex dealer) already pointed at that.
That is where your problem is (I had to change bushes on my '94 LS400 cause I had a same problem like you)...
Also, it would help to check the whole front as well...
Edit : Just remembered - the steering rack pinion can also cause simular behaviour
OK so you put on the conti tires. What size? Was there any difference? I am not reading this post real well. There was another post earlier where guys liked the conti you describe.
Did you get this car checked out before you bought it? With 48k to have steering and suspension problems is unusual.
