2003 Lexus LS430 Ultimate
I went to adjust my passenger side rearview mirror only to find it did not work. Has anyone (I'm sure they have) had to face this problem? Is there anything I should check before taking it in to my Lexus dealer? The drivers side seems okay. Thanx
This may prove helpful if the switch isn't just on the wrong side. You could have a dirty contact behind the two way switch causing the "R" side not to work...

Naturally I double checked the positioning of the switch before actuation. But thanx anyway. I will look tomorrow at whether the switch contacts needs a clean. I thought maybe I'd hear a whirring when the mirror is moving. I also wondered if maybe each of these 2 mirrors is controlled by separate fuses? Thanx again
Duh! Do I feel stupid, I went out to perform my contact cleaning ritual only to discover that inadvertently I must have hit the "OFF" button for the side view mirrors....now I have mixed emotions, STUPID and wow I don't have to shell out $300. Sorry for the inconvenience......Lexus ROCKS
