its a video coverter that uses wire that runs from navigation unit to the touch screen. at a flip of a switch or when reverse lights come on it cuts the feed from nav and replaces it with feed from camera or other video signale.

i posted most of the write up yesterday

So it injects the measuring lines onto the display using the original rear camera or is a aftermarket camera used? I understand the video function but im really interested in the "lines".

*it uses rca video signal, so any camera with RCA for video cable will work



think of a nav tool as a "T" in a wire

and when the "T" is activated it changes signal from one video signal to another.
