I have an 2002 LS 430 UL, recently my radio volume has become unadjustable, and I can not change stations, CD, etc. it seems that none of the radio buttons work, it is just locked into the current station at a low volume. I tried restarting the car, but that did not help. I considered pulling out the fuse and replacing it but was told the I need a code for the radio. Is this true?

 

no code is needed for the radio that i am aware of. i have unplugged my battery many times

 

just unhooked the battery terminal and reconnected it and now it works fine. thanks for the advice
