Default Hard driver's seat

Just purchased a '04 UL, CPO I love it. The only problem is the driver's seat feels a tad hard.

Your drivers seat should have a control on the left side (if your sitting in it) that controls the stiffness of your lower and upper back...just a suggestion if you didnt already do that..

or are you talking about the actual seat itself..

mine feels fine..

I noticed that my driver's seat was a bit different than past cars and would get uncomfortable after a while. I kept adjusting the controls, especially the length of the lower cushion and found a comfortable setting.

The other solution is to go to Dairy Queen more often, put on weight, and hope that some of it provides added cushioning on your bottom.

I think with a used car, the size and weight of the previous owner(s) often affects the seat's current level of cushioning. A really big person can crush padding and flatten any seat pretty quick.

In some cases you may have to take the car to upholstery shop and have it re-padded. That should fix it.

looks great+ If its CPO you might try to take it back to dealer and ask them if they would do something about the drivers seat. All they can do is say no...

I would think since it is a CPO, as Jabberwock said, you may get some relief from the dealer. The OEM molded cushion assembly is less than $200 from one of the site sponsor dealers; any upholstery shop could probably have it fixed in pretty short order; you may actually get Crown to refer someone if they don't offer to do it there.

BTW, while doing some "window" shopping, I identified your car as a great deal, at least on my own scale. Congratulations!
