Default Shocks and Struts

So i recently went to NTB to get my car checked out because it had been making more tire noise and i thought it was just an alignment issue or something but it turned out that it was my shocks and struts or something along those lines. What i was wondering is if it would be possible to replace them myself and if so how hard would it be or where i should get the parts.

By the way, struts have very little to do with tire noise for your information. Its most likely the tires, or alignment. Having said that, struts do influence how tires are worn.
