Question Mufflers?????????

Will Simply changing the mufflers of a 2006 LS 430 Change the sound of the engine or are there too many other things in the way to even notice a difference. Like Cats, Resonators ECT?

You mean change to a different muffler right, not OEM. Yes, changing to a different muffler could change the sound, but until you actually plug it in or listen to one already installed on an LS, you'll never know how it will sound on your car. There are many other factors as you mentioned, including resonator, header, etc. You can always add a fart can to more cheaply change the sound, but then you'll get a fart noise instead.

Try searching on Youtube. There are some clips that people uploaded of there aftermarket mufflers/exhausts.

but its always best to hear it in person.

For my car the HKS Axle back online sounds a bit weird but in person its puts a smile on your face.

I'll record you video of my exhaust. All I did was remove the rear mufflers and run pipes out the rear. No it doesn't sound like a Chevelle, and it's actually just a little more aggressive than stock.

I need to get my car back first.

I was thinking for running straight pipes as well due to the fact my stock muffler scrapes when going in and out of my driveway.

I did this to my LS400 and it sounded good with two mufflers removed.
