Hi. We have a 2005 LS 430 UL with PCS and suddenly had the same display warnings, and the loss of the radar dynamic cruise. We reviewed the forum, secured the TSIB and just to be sure took it to our local dealer for diagnostics. They confirmed the speed control computer but wanted 16% over MSRP for the part (seriously). Their parts department would not "negotiate" so we got the part from a Lexus dealer in another state and took it to our dealer to install. They called and said the computer did not do it and it needs a sensor assembly (quoted $1,505.00, again way over MSRP). I am wondering if anyone has had this problem, I am concerned about their ability to properly diagnose this problem and I feel like they may be "learning" on me. There are no other Lexus dealers in the area and we are considering traveling to another dealer in another city to get a second opinion but either way it results in spending more to be sure we have an appropriate diagnosis.
