Default Hello from San Diego

Hi Guys! It's been awhile since my last post here on the LS forum. I've been busy traveling cross country with the LS. I managed to make it out here on the west coast within 48 hours and a little over 3,000 miles (first thing I did was got an oil change)

The LS is still looking good but there's a couple minor road chips on the hood and windshield now.

Pics from my road trip HERE

Cool pics. What a great trip and a great car to take it in. Get those sky rats away from your car.

Sky rats... ha ha.

Wow, 3000 miles in less than 48 hours. Did you stop off anywhere? That would be averaging 63mph non-stop.

I doubt the car would go 3000 miles on one tank of gas

DOH... ha ha, I know that. I meant besides pit stops. Did he stay off and sleep somewhere or ran all the way through. Longest I've ever driven non-stop (except pit stops) was like 22 hours going down to Dallas, but I had to sleep for three hours.

Back to OP, nice pictures BTW, got more?

It looks like there were at least two drivers, since some of the pics were taken from the passenger seat. The LS430 passenger seat is more comfortable than some beds. My wife certainly enjoys sleeping there.

Those are great pics. Hope the LS was a pleasure on the highways (rhetorical question if there ever was one)

I drove down with my dad and he had to help with some of the driving during the day while I slept for a few hours in the car. We also napped for a few at a McDonald's parking lot.

thanks, more HERE @ Flickr
