LS430 Trunk closing...

Okay to semi slam the trunk shut or do I need to gently put it down so that the electronics can close it for me?

I think either way the electroniocs will pull the trunk tight. Might as well just ease her down.

Ease it down is the way to go. No need for force at all. One of the luxuries with this car. L.G.N.M

probably not good for strut life to slam it. Everything on a car will last a lot longer if you are gentle and smooth with it.
