What are spacers?
Hey fellas im not that inclined when it comes to wheels and wheel accessories and seriously considering putting the LS460 star shaped 19" wheels thats similar in design to the 18" LS430 wheels on my 05 LS430. As someone on here told me that it would not be a direct fit because of bolt pattern i believe and would need spacers. So my questions are: what are these spacers? where do i get them? are they goin to affect my ride other than the increase in wheel size? are there other concerns? is it worth it?

It's not just a spacer (which pushes your wheel 'out' from the hub). The LS460 wheel is a totally different bolt pattern (the LS460 holes are not in the same location as those on the LS430 wheel).
I personally would not do it.

im thinking they were referring to wheel adapters. what that does is converts one bolt pattern to another so it allows u to fit rims that were not meant for your car. for instance in your case your trying to fit a 5x120 bolt pattern(ls460) to 5x114.3 bolt pattern(ls430). there are some online retailers. i know of one but i dont know how well they are made. http://adaptitusa.com/index.aspx in terms of concerns there have been mixed reviews on that. i would look in the wheel forum for that answer.
Also, the standard tire size on a LS460 is much larger than a LS430...meaning you'd have to go down in profile size... the stock 245/45/19 would be no good on a LS430....you'd have to go 245/40/19 or 245/35/19
