Is this a good Deal??
Hi folks,
I just purchased a 2001 Ultra Luxury LS430 from a great "lexus" guy in Texas. Car is black with burgundy interior. Mint condition with 59K miles. I bought her for 14K. Is this a good price for this model with the mileage? Also I like the burgundy interior but had never seen one before, is this relatively rear?

Here's the KBB private party value for your UL 01 LS430
Excellent = $16,840
Good = $16,040
Fair = $15,040
Here's the KBB trade-in value for your UL 01 LS430
Excellent = $13,900
Good = $13,225
Fair = $12,075
Congrats on your new find!
Looks like you got an awesome deal on a very low mileage (for an 01) LS. Plus it's very rare to hear/see burgundy interior for an LS as I've seen the new 2010 LS460 with Black and Saddle Tan Leather trim.
Post some pics when you can.

Thanks a bunch! Carfax and Autocheck are clean and I have all service records since day 1. I will be posting pics soon. The interior with the bordeux leather is incredible.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

I personally like the saddle, but it was too contrasty for my wife. So we went black on black...
Can't wait to see some pics from the OP.
I've seen only a couple of the LS with Burgandy interior. They differ in the usual ways that Lexus differs from the domestics -- aside from the quality and finish of the materials themselves, the Lexus has the wood and other contrasting trim that keeps the interior from looking like everything was spray-painted a single color.

You absolutely got an incredible deal!
I purchased a brand new UL in 2001 and the Bordeaux leather was not offered to me as an option. I have since seen only one - on eBay.
The Bordeaux appears to me to be darker, more brown, than the saddle.
You have what is indeed a rare interior and in my opinion the most attractive.
Congratulations! Where did you find it (craigslist, autotrader...etc.)? I know this is too good a deal to be from the Lexus store.
I don't think the Bordeoux was a "red" as your Caddy. It's more comparable to the Saddle, but slightly more redish it seems. I've never one except for a recent thread that was going around mentioning it.
