auto louver front A/C vents
Yesterday, while playing a classical CD w/ many quiet pauses in it and driving slowly through a quiet residential area, I noticed the louver vents make a little bit of noise (like turning gears) just when they reach the far side pointing towards the driver. Is this normal? Should the louvers be completely noise-free?
+1, there is gear noise when the music is off. Guess that's the compromise of the vehicle, so quiet inside you hear everything and then think everything is broken.
Have a car that's loud that you can't hear anything, and it's too loud.

I Hear a little noise once in a while..........And I do agree ........you can here every little rattle or squeak in this car it is that quiet. My glove box used to rattle because of a worn spot in glove box cloth material in the corner. I used some felt pads and covered the bare plastic spot with some electric tape....lol....................that glove box rattle used really get under my skin because that was all I could hear in this LS interior..................Now I think I hear the woodgrain trim on the passenger door squeak a little once in a while (I can tell because when I put my hand on it , it stops).............could be the cold winter of NY...............i THINK IM JUST OVER OBSESSIVE WITH MY CAR!

Thanks. So I guess it's performing up to spec
.
The other noise I hear is the interior moonroof cover when driving on a bumpy road. The vibration makes the cover move a tiny bit, causing the noise. If I shut it hard, it'll shut up until it vibrates open a little again. By this time, I'm off that bumpy road and onto a smoother one. The other way is to crack the moonroof cover an inch.
