Default Tire sensor

Hey Guys,

Quick question, had to put some air into the front and back tires on the passenger side, as they were both low. After doing so, it still shows low pressure. Any idea what the problem is?

Search the LS430 forums for "tire sensor" and you will find reset instructions

Thanks! I just picked my whip up not too long ago. I would thought it would just go away, once you put air into it?

You may have to drive the car a few miles for the sensor to reset.

It must be "Initialized", not reset. Search threads for "initialize" tire pressure.
(The message "Initialized " must appear on your dash display.)

Switch on ignition but do not start the engine. Push the button in the footwell until "Initialize" appears on the display. This takes some seconds.

I can reset/initialize mine when the car is stopped and in gear, it won't reset while you're driving and not recommended as you may get into an accident. I get that error when I'm on the road for a long time even though all my tires are perfect. When I come to a stoplight, I would just reach under, hold the button down and the light goes away. Once you know what you're doing, it really easy to do.

If you just press the button til the warning goes away, you're just resetting it. You have to get the word "Initialize" in the display.

You know, that maybe true but once I reset it, I'm good for a long time and don't have the warning. Wonder why that is
