Default LS430 Interior Lighting

I recently picked up an '03 LS430. At night when in park and the interior lights are on...is there lighting in the driver footwell? I see lights at both door handles and in the passenger footwell....not sure about the driver's side? Same also when in drive....and the light dim.....is there suppose to be a dim light on in the driver's footwell?

thanks!
