Power Steering Question

Im looking to do the power steering service on my 01 LS.....I know lexus uses atf fluid dexron type 3 fluid so my question is can toyota type IV ATF be used?????

I honestly dont remember, because i personally went with Mobile 1 ATF on both the LS and GS and the steering has never felt better.
