smart-key compatibility with metalized window tint?
Does anyone here have a metalized window tint and the smart key option? Does the window tint interfere with the smart key (or tire pressure sensor) operation? I'm looking for a bronze tint (llumar high-performance metalized film) since my interior is tan, but the only non-metalized (ceramic) tint I can source locally comes in charcoal. Here in So. AZ, either a metalized or ceramic tint is a must (vs. a dye-based) for UV durability and heat rejection.
My other cars have metalized tints (I think formulaOne tint), and all the key fobs function properly, and radio reception and cell phone use is not affected (despite the tint shop warning that metalized tints might decrease cell phone reception [btw, cell phone is not blue-tooth compatible]).

Just had my 2006 LS430 base model tinted with Llumar ATR 50% metal based tint. So far i havent noticed any problems with smart key access, fm radio, or cellphone reception. Car doesn't have built in navigation, but phone gps works just fine with this type of tint.
