Like clockwork, I've been getting discount coupons from the Lexus dealerships. At about every 6 months, I get coupons mailed to me. These are not those 10% off tires or windshield wipers useless ones but ones that are really good.

I just got one for $29.95 oil change. I've got one like that last year that I used. Other ones I get is $50.00 off any parts or service. I used it to buy OEM A/C and other filters. I've been getting these from 2 of the 3 local Lexus dealers. There are 3 within 25 miles from my house.

Just wondering if it just my local dealers giving these coupons away or are anyone of you receiving these too?

I do receive them from time to time, but nothing like the ones you've described. Having more then one dealer in your area really heats things up.

 

I live 50 miles from a Lexus dealer. They don't even know I exist.

Parkway Lexus in Savannah GA had a 24.95 oil change coupon in the paper recently, included a full clean-up.

 

One of the Lexus dealers in my areas actually has oil change coupons and % off parts coupons in those "coupon mailer" things that come in the mail. Very easy to get people to go there...

 

Here in Tucson, AZ, there are only 2 dealers, both under the same ownership=monopoly=no coupons. I usually go local, but I have had to go to Phoenix/Scottsdale (110 mi north) for replacement window glass. As expected, due to the competition up there, I reguarly receive coupons for stuff like oil changes, etc.
