I just finished a engineeering mod..... and everything looks great! I dont have my Vaistech yet, but I am sure this part will work. I will try to post information up this by the end of next week, connectors, pins, photos, drawings.
The Engineering Mod has a switch in the trunk with wires long enough to allow me to temporary run the switch from the truck outside to the cockpit. The other wiring in the dash is complete.
A couple of quick notes. The 04 -06 LS430 has the Nav EU in the trunk and you wil have to run a two wire switch up to the cockpit (for Destination input while moving). You can enable bluetooth and Video while moving with just modifying the Nav Display aka Multi-Display. No other issues to report. I cant wait to finish this with everything; the Vaistech, a truck mounted Amp/Subwoofer, remote bass control, and the Nav Destination while driving switch!
