Default Front power outlet

Does some have a pdf file on how to replace the front power outlet?
i checked the driver side fuse and it is ok. Not sure if there is also a fuse outlet on the passenger side, but does anyone else here have the same problem. My radar detector is not working when i plug it in so I assume its the fuse, but when i checked the driver side fuse panel it is ok.
So now Im thinking of replacing the whole socket does anyone have a manual on how to replace power outlet ?

I think you need to ask this question to the IS Model Forum. There are threads on this Forum on removing the ash tray assembly which required some disassembly of the console, but that probably is applicable in your case.

I don't remember exactly where the fuse locate on top of my head but it is the fuse that you need to replace nothing else. Check the back of the owner manual, it will tell you where the fuse locate. The manual will spell out which number fuse for each fuction, the other page will indicate the fuse no. location and which fuse box.

The fuse box might be under ther hood. Sorry, I can't remember where it is but I finally found it after looking thru the owner manual.

My apologies for assuming you were asking for help on an IS.

I recently replaced my ash tray assembly with a replacement box from Sewell. The box has a power supply also. Replacing it required removing the console wood cover. The ash tray assembly has a cigarette lighter. Both units plug into the same electrical wiring. You might want to disassemble and see if the connections are OK. I also noticed that you can purchase a replacement cigarette lighter for around $60 or so if that is the problem.

Have you check fuse no. 32? It's under the passenger's side kick panel (Page 487, 490 of the owner manual).

THanks guys!~ it was the front passenger fuse that was busted! hehehe
I thought it was only the front driver side fuse so I assume that the whole outlet is busted.
Thanks for all the help!
