Default Lexus Secret Menu or Debug Diag or Navi Menu

Hi: I know how to reach the "DEBUG DIAG" to operate the Navigation with the car moving. Anybody can tell me the other commands: Package/Dump/Version/Fill/GPS/Position. The only one I know is "Override Drive" to operate the Navigation with the car moving. (My car is LS430 2001 with new Nav. 08.1)

how well does the Nav.8.01 work in your 2001. Is it worth the upgrade. How much did it cost you.

Default Navigation Upgrade (08.1)

Hi: Mine is from Sewell Lexus. I think the part code is:PT219-GEN2345-08. They charge $299 BUT if you use the Promo Code: NAV08 they take $50 on the spot and if you return the old disc they send you another $50. Total price $199. To install the only thing you have to do is take the old one from the trunk and insert the new one. The machine does the upgrade in about one minute (you have to have the ignition with the key in ON position) If you live in the middle of nowhere like me you don't notice big diference but the other day I went to San Antonio and you notice the changes. My car is a 430-2001 Generation 2/3 if your car is 2004-2006 you need Generation 4. Good Luck. Pat.

The Version 3.1.I send my Rebate Form yesterday to Sewell. I noticed in step one what are you talking about it. I mark the square and now to wait. They have to be crazy if they expect people returning 07.1 for 08.1

Default Nav. Override.

Hi Stackwell:First on the right side press MENU.On menu option press SYSTEM OPTION. Now on system option screen press the upper left corner then the lower left corner then the upper left corner again then the lower left corner again then press lower right corner (the only thing you have to worry on this screen is the corners)now appear a beautiful blue screen with commands, press OVERRIDE DRIVE and after that BACK. The only problem you have to do this every time you start the car.

weird. I guess 1 of us doesn't have the new 2008 nav. Might be me, but the dealer said they installed the newest nav on there when I purchased it. The difference between ours is when I push MENU, there is no SYSTEM OPTION... just something guidance, blah, blah, and settings....

also I don't know if it's the one installed, but the nav cd I have says 2004... gen4 cd or something like that..

Gen 4 v8.1, you CAN NOT do override... last one you can do override is v6.1... Lexus got smart on us, or not really (doing us a big dis-service)
