Default Blown Away by Lexus Drivers Membership

OK, I"\'m a newbie and maybe the "old timers" know about this site but I was blown away. Fist of all you have to register with your VIN and then you can view all of the Lexus service records. They even have on-line manuals and other cool stuff. Go see for yourself if you didn't know about this site.

Sent them an email this AM asking if it is possible to access an options list according to the VIN Number. Will advise when I get a reply.

Wow this site is a must for anyone thinking of purchasing a Lexus. Mine had front end repair and I never knew it. That sucks!

Thanks for the link. Just signed up and entered all the maintenance records I have done outside a Lexus dealer. Should really help keep track of Maintenance and also when it is time to sell.
Thanks again.

I think this is a new site. I got an email from Lexus the end of April entiled "Introducing the new Lexus Drivers Site". The email said "The Lexus Owners website and Lexus Magazine Online have just merged into LexusDrivers.com."
The old site had maintenance records but I don't remember it having the online manuals which are pretty useful.

Very cool! I saw everything the first owner did since he purchased it from the Lexus dealer I bought from, the guy was on time with every maintenance service including myself.

Interesting! I thought it was always there. I registered few days ago right after I bought my car. It doesn't give details of the service itself though.

You can also go to the dealer and they can pull out some printout that will tell you whole service history, options, and the original MSRP.

Just got a reply from the site regarding getting original equipment list:

We apologize; the option to view the factory-installed optional equipment on your vehicle is not an available feature on the site. Our office would be more than happy to provide you with the information you requested for your vehicle.

Please respond to this email with your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) so that we may process your request.

If you require further assistance, please respond to this e-mail, or contact Lexus Customer Satisfaction at 1-800-255-3987, Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Pacific Time.

Sincerely,

Danielle Chandler

Outstanding!

I just ordered the Owner's Manual that I never received with the vehicle.

No big deal.

I am happy so far.

Even in this electronic age of online manuals it is always nice to have one in the glovebox for those unexpected occasions. Glad to be of assistance.
