Sorry if this question has already been asked before but I'm just couldn't find one yet from this forum so I decided to start a new thread for this.

I have a CPO 2004 LS430 with Sport suspension (two stickers on both sides) but how can I be sure that this car is really equipped with the sport suspension? is there a way to tell visually or anyhow? i have not driven one without Sport suspension or UL so I don't know about the difference.

Appreciate any feedback or reply.

Other then the two stickers on both sides, there really is no way to tell visually.

All sport package car comes with NAV and ML, that is really the only clue.

One way you can tell is, you can call Lexus customer service, they can tell you if the car came equipped with sport suspension from the factory if you give them the VIN #. They have the window sticker of every cars they sold on file.

 

Or if you can claw under the car to get the part # off the side of the shock, I can tell you if it is a sport suspension. The part # sticker is hard to find though if you don't know where to look.

 

If the car got those two stickers on both sides though, it is most likely a sport, since not many LS430 owners would put those stickers on just for looks.

Thanks everyone for the reply. I think I will call the customer service to find out. Reason I wanna find out is when the time I bought this CPO from the dealer I found only one site has the sticker but they ordered the other missing one for me at no charge. That's why I suspect whether this car really originally equipped with the sport suspension or just that the sticker was there for some reason. No one from the dealer can verify that at that time, kinda strange but anyway let me call to find out. Thanks guys!!

 

Umm...I'mmmm not too sure about that statement, especially after viewing all the different threads and mods on this site! Lowering, raising, bigger rims, emblems removed, emblems added, tint, etc, etc!

 

That is true on a modded car, like how my UL have the OEM sport suspension

But if it is a 100% CPO stock car found on a dealer's lot, the chance is, it is not altered

 

Why can't you view the rim size? I didn't think 17" rims w/sport suspension was an option? I thought only 18" rims were with the sport suspension/sport package? Come to think of it, the only stickers or "extra" badges I've seen on LS's are the obviously rediculous, like---someone putting a "turbo" sticker on the rear trunk lid, or K&N stickers or something stupid like that?
