Alpine Headrest Video Package finally INSTALLED

paid $500 on ebay...

paid retail from crutchfield... I like this unit because it's cheap and plays DVD+R's which is hard to find, most players play DVD-R. This unit also has slot for SD card, USB slot, and AUX for Ipod.
The install cost 300 bucks, but the installer gave me 20 bucks off because he messed up one of my cables, and has it on order. Probably finish up the install this week. The bad thing is that the LS430 does not offer Audio Harness like other Lexus models. He offer some fancy harness that has full Ipod cap. for 200 bucks, and I passed on it. I am running a cassette adapter from the brain of the unit to the cassette deck, but I'm sure the wires can be hidden (post pictures asap). Costing about 25 bucks with some special wiring by myself.
The installer also scratched up my shift gate cover, some of the leather surroundings on the center console (very small). I guess I got what I paid for in labor... most installer were asking $500-600 for install. BTW the headrest are Stock Headrest!
