Hey ladies/gents I have noticed ever since owning any luxury car the same things have happened to me. I have been blessed to drive a Lexus or Benz since 1997 and ever car has had some sort of deliberate scratch via keying or some other way or minor bump by another car or door ding etc., and most people dont pay attention when they exit or enter there cars and have no regards for others cars. Some people care nothing about there cars and they fling there doors or bump into cars with no regret.

I was in my car once and a person didnt know and they flung there door open. When they saw me, they reached for the door quick just before it hit my car. Had I not been there we are talking another ding. Some of it is just hate. Hard to imagine folks that upset about a car they dont have and may want but, it happens. I have a 2001 that folks still tell me how great it looks. Some folks ask the year of the 2001 LSI drive to this day so, I imagine some of these incidents we have experienced arent accidents at all. In the case of the thread starter sounds like a careless driver that hit him and thats very unfortunate. I dont think your case was intent on the part of those who hit you but, there are many of us who I think were victims of hate!

I dont care how old a Benz/BMW/Audi/Jag/Acura/Infiniti/Lexus is, they are all cars most desire, yes and all I named arent in the same category but, for those who cant afford either, they all are pretty much the same. Dream cars!!!! L.G.N.M

It's at 8740 18th ave in Brooklyn. Final price for right fender and front bumper is $550.

I hope this works out for you - I had the bumper sprayed on my LS a few years ago and it looked great but after about 6 months the clear coat started to peel back at the edges. The dealer who had originally set up the painting sent it out to their own shop where they removed the bumper and repainted it off the car as Lexus requires - $650 but they paid all of it plus the loaner. I had the car for another six years with no further problem.
