People have no care for each other and hit and runs are a direct result of the disconnect humans feel with each other! The crazy thing is its based on selfishness and fear why the person who hit you didn't come clean or even leave a letter so they could or there insurance company could cover the damages. If they cant pay for it at once at least they couldhave been humble an made monthly payments to cover your loss. Karma is definite TO BITE BACK AT THEM! L.G.N.M

Hi everyone. More than a year after I'll update you how it all ended.
Office owner hustled to help me, but a week later didn't hear anything from him so I started calling him and got his voicemail all the time. Then he called me two weeks later with a bs story that a camera didn't record anything due to faulty VHS. Damn, who uses a VHS these days for a security system? I'm 100% sure it was one of this office's transport vans and that's why he stoped helping me as soon as he saw who did it.
As to damages: need to repaint bumper, parking sensor gone, headlamp washer pump cracked, leaking - was plugged - I don't use it, fender was pushed in leaving a quarter to half inch gap between fender and bumper. Shop quoted me $600 for bumper+fender+paint+one mirror painted. Ordered parking sensor off eBay few days ago. If I was to change a pump too the whole thing would run $1000 - just from a small hit and run.
Thank god now I have my own personal driveway.

Never park next to a medical office .....and be carefull in their parking lots as old people that are half blind sometimes drive into cars without even knowing it. They leave without even knowing what happened. Ive seen it happen a few times before.

Vortu
Thanks man. In a few coming weeks I'll take her to the shop to put everything right.

I used to park there all the time. It was one of the busy neighbourhoods where a spot to park was a blessing and still is I just moved out of that hell.
As to half deaf, half blind and half dead very and not very old people, trust me I see it all the time, sometimes couple of times a day, everywhere: mall parkinglots, any office p/lot, even on the street - it's horrible. I'd revoke DL after 70 but that's another story. It's New York City, unfortunately there are much more a-holes than in any other city driving recklessly and very dangerous. I'm not an angel myself but I am responsible for my actions - that's why I have insurance.

Hate to see that happen to your car. Too many #$&holes in the world - not much you can do about a hit and run. Karma will take care of he offender eventually.

Yep dings and scrapes from %^$holes are why I'm the guy you see that parks his car way across the parking lot, out where its basically empty, 100+ yards out and always on a wide end spot next to some kind of divider. I get a lot more exercise that way also which is good for me. If there are no good empty spots in a lot, I won't park in it, I refuse to park in a standard spot, I just leave - or park across the street - what ever is necessary to keep my car free of dings.

Hope you ordered the correct sensor as there are two different ones in the front. The ones in the center are larger in diameter than the two near the edge.

Thanks for your support guys. I am always extra cautios when I park my car anywhere not at home, always look for a bigger spot and if there's none I'll do what Jabberwock does.
Airtime
Yeah, I noticed that when I gave it a closer look and ordered a "smaller one" as described on eBay. Thanks.

I remembered one time sitting inside starbucks and saw my car "moving".
Walked to the door to see a big Chevy Suburban side wipped my door (pulling out from park). I had to stop the driver (2 teens female) saying "what happened?" "Really?"

End up calling his grandpa for insurance... Can't remember how many time my car got side wipped..

women behind the wheel are like stars in the sky: you see them but they don't see you.
Women and driving don't mix in 95% of the time. Too many times I had to sverve out because they don't look where they're going.

The only folks I hate to see driving are the people that can't seem to stop talking on the cell phone or even texting while driving. I know this isnt politically corrcet but in my area I almost never see a female driving that is not also talking on her phone. Having said that I don't think this problem is gender related - plenty of guys constantly on phone while driving also.

Listen folks - nothing about you or anyone's life do is important enough to require routine extended cell phone conversations while driving. You need to pay attention to driving and being safe not talking or texting on the phone. BTW I'm not talking about a quick 2 minute cell phone call to let someone know you are late or will soon arrive - something like that. That's not ideal but certainly understandable if used for limited and quick calls only.
