I need to know the features of LS430 seats. Are they the same across 2001-2006, or where there any changes in 2004-2006? Do they all come with seat airbags?

 

This is what I've seen in cars I looked at, but I reserve the right to be completely wrong here.

Front Seats
2001-2003 models had heated front seats as standard. You could option up to heated\cooled front seats for those years on some models. Ultra came standard with heated\cooled fronts.
2004-2006 models had heated\cooled front seats as standard on all models.

Rear Seats
All year models had heated rear seats as standard.
All year Ultra models had 'power' rear seats including heating\cooling, massage\vibrating functions as well as seat movement forward\back.

Leather choices
2001-2003 heated only seat models didn't have perforated leather.
2001-2006 heated\cooled front seat equipped vehicles had perforated leather all around.
Semi-Aniline leather (which I love BTW) was available as an option leather upgrade on some models. I suspect you could special order this, but never saw an ML or base model that had it. Ultra owners will report in I'm sure to clarify this being an option\standard on their vehicles.

I need to know about seat airbags, were the standard or optional, and how do you tell if it has seat airbags?

 

If it says on the seat (where the controls are) "SRS Side Airbag" does that mean that the seat itself has an airbag?
