Default need help with hid's (fog)

ok, so here it goes i purchased 3000k/35w hid's for my fogs. at first when i turned them on they took about 2/3 min's to illuminate in yellow. after being on for about 10 min's my passenger side would start turning a greenish color pretty much it was losing or not keeping its power (whatever). so, i e-mailed the seller and he sent me a new bulb free of charge which i very much appreciated but, after replacing the passenger side with the new bulb the drivers side wasn't fully illuminating. battery is good and i changed the fuse to a 20a.

my question is, does anyone know what the problem is? or does anyone have this same problem?

p.s. i bought the lights from v-leds which i know they are not cl sponsors....just wanted to buy all my led's and hid's from the same place.

Where do you get this kit, and what brand are the bulbs?

it might be the kit because i plugged my 20k HIDz right in and it powered right up so try to move the kit on both sides if its sill the same then it something with the car but if you switch the kit from one side to the other and the problem moves with the kit then you should know its the kit

HID's are usually a ON or OFF thing. A problem like the one you mentioned above usually means a problem with the bulb/ballast.

With so much after market HID manufacturers, so many vendors are buying cheaper brands to stay competitive.

Unfortunately, there isnt much to be done to fix it. Replace drivers side bulb and hope they last. Whatever you do, make sure your bare hands NEVER touch the glass part of the bulb.

yep, sounds like a cheap bulb.
This happened to my friend's 3000K yellow hids as well. He bought a cheap kit.

I had the same problem with the light going green. It was my ballast that was going out.
