Default My 2006 Ultra

Finally arrived off the barge and picked her up yesterday. WOW I had no idea the ride was going to be that mahvalous! I know my wife was skeptical when I was looking, but after driving it home (I let her drive it first, I ain't no dummy), she loved it! So we're all cool now. Took it out and spooled her up on the highway and the ride and quiet were just excellent at 80 mph.

Again I want to thank all of you who provided suggestions/help/comments that helped us in the decision process. This is a great place to come for information.

OK, the particulars. Yeah it's Mystic Gold Metallic. Lease return from California. Got it from a small independent dealer in the Seattle area. It passed a PPI at the Lexus dealership with flying colors. It had 23,600 on the clock when we got it. It has all the options; pre collision, 18" chromes, satellite radio, right down to the cargo net and all the keys/manuals etc. Put new Weathertec mats in the front, rear, and trunk upon arrival. When I ran the VIN through Lexus, up came the complete service history from the original dealership, get this, Beverly Hills!! It's not Kansas any more Toto.
After haggling for about 10 days and walking away twice, we were out the door for $31.0 even.

I know I said some pics by the glacier and all that, but it is snowing hard, in fact we're in a snow storm advisory all day, so those photos ain't gonna happen. I've shoveled twice already trying to stay ahead of it. So for now... the pics are from the dealership, sorry everyone.

Is it my imagination or is your shifter different than stock in the image above?

Good price, Great Options, Fantastic car.

Congrats!

The shift **** isn't the correct one as pointed out above. Talk to your dealer and see if they have it there. It's a common thing from the auctions I think where they remove the shift ***** on the cars for some reason. Anybody know why? I often see pics from dealers with auction cars without the shift *****. Worse case - buy one off Ebay or from our sponsor Sewell.

I think that shift **** is because it's the "Cricket Edition" and the shifter is the ball... GET THE OEM ****, that thing is hideous... otherwise, sweet ride with the 18" chrome. Nice light tinting too in the back. Color... ahhhhhh...

congrats, but don't you need AWD in Alaska! You also have gold package only in the rear, or is there gold in the front also...
