Okay so I got this LS430 home, love it. I am trying to figure out if it's an UL CL or ML. For starters no Navigation, Rear heated seat no massage, It has 17inch tires on Alloyd rims, Laser Cruise, Mark Levinson, the rear shade is electric, Moonroof, Headlamp washers along with the other options that come with all of the 430's. With this information can anybody tell me what package I have? Thanks for the help

 

Wow, I was going to say it was the base with no Nav. but then you mentioned the headlamp washer, ML stereo, and Laser, so it has to be a Custom Luxury because none of these were even standalone options I don't believe. But weird thing is how does it NOT come with a Nav.... very strange indeed. When you say no Nav. you mean no Nav. right, not that it doesn't work...

 

I think when he said no Nav etc, etc meaning he none of those features and that mean he bought a base LS430. If that what he meant, I could be wrong tho.

 

No, I think he only meant no Nav, but had the rest... why would he note that he has NOTHING and ask what it is? That's like asking "I have a Honda Civic with roll up windows, is it the top-of-the-line EX leather, minus the leather?" hee hee.

 

I re-read your description again. Do you have side shades? or a switch for Hi/Normal, and sport/normal?

 

Welcome to LS430 side.....and it sounds like its not a Custom or UL....if you have a UL, the door will shut by itself.....double glass windows....seude headliner....air ride...bumper sensors.....rear refrig.....rear door shades....and rear seat recliners....custom will have most of what I listed....

 

It sounds like a Custom Luxury LS sold in Canada (they didn't have NAV till later on).

Yes no navigation. In 2002 Navigation in Canada did not do too much only the 401 and some four lane highways

 

Yes I have the switch no side shades. The switch is for normal, snow and I I think aggresive? I forget

 

Well I have the suede and i will check out the rest when I get back home from work. Do the doors shut themselves via the remote? I have an access door to the trunk.

 

Definitely not a UL since the massager is the biggest giveaway.

The only option that is throwing it off the Laser cruise since everything else seems to be the Modern Lux package

 

Someone before mentioned that earlier Canadian LS430 did not have NAV, so I'm thinking yours is definitely a Custom Luxury then.

You mentioned you have headliner, headlight washer, heated front and rear, and Mark Lev. Not Ultra for sure.

The auto-closers you shut the door so that the latch touches and then the door closes itself. It is not by remote.

 

Very cool I just ran out to the garage and tried the auto shut. It worked.
So yes I have this option as well. No rear fridge no rear stereo controls but it does have the Mark Levinson
