04 LS430 Tire pressure

Default 04 LS430 Tire pressure

On the 2004 LS430 does it have A low tire pressure indicator one of my tire went down to 26-PSI and nothing came up to tell me this car came with anything like that thanks

Not sure if before '04 it was standard, but for '04, the LS430 came with TPMS as standard. Keep in mind, it does not measure the pressure directly from the valve stem like on the LS460, it measures using the ABS system and measures tire rotation and differentiation from last "reset" or initialization.

I think that if somehow both of your fronts let's say are losing pressure at the same rate, you will not trigger a low warning. Also, the pressure loss in each wheel has to be under 26 psi. It's really measuring for "gross" pressure loss, not a variance of 6 psi. I mean, I could be wrong.

Since the pressure is not measured directly, I went and got myself a set of four (4) "Tireminders" for measuring the 30-33 range. So, if the pressure drops below 28, I'll be warned.
