I suggest you save your money or at least spend it on something other then a intake.

Whatever floats your boat it's just that members had this discussion before and it's proven that an intake only makes noise and not HP,i figured you wanted to make HP but hell if you only want to make noise then by all means get the intake..another company makes an intake for the LS it's called fujitsa or something like that but again it's only a noise maker, good luck

I had a injen cold air intake on one of my cars before and it did dress up the engine a little. As for HP....it did nothing but it did make the engine growl louder. Mainly for looks and little to nil performance or mpg gain. It's like adding a nice set of rims which is for show also but is more visible.

DanozLS430...

Both Ingen and Fujita5 make intakes for the 3UZ engines.

I have a Ingen intake on my 04. Realistically I didn't feel a change but then again I bought it used for a cheap price cause a friend had it lying around after he sold his car.

If you want it for sound/growl, then it may be worth getting for you. Right around 2k-3k RPM and up you'll hear a difference. And it does sound nice. Looks wise...as long as you keep it clean it looks good.

I have the Injen intake on my '01 and it's pretty nice, makes the engine bay look a little sportier. As for sound, at WOT it reminds me of the growl of a big American block engine. And for power gains, I don't know about the Injen intake, but the Fujita intake was dynoed on the 3UZ-FE engine and it produced 6WHP and 15ft-lbs of torque, negligible, but still nice to have
