There have been several threads on this topic.
Based on the "system reset" procedure, I do not think that the comparison is between current measurements (of rotation rates of the 4 wheels (which indirectly measures tire circumference, and thus tire pressure).
Rather, it compares each individual circumference with the one recorded for that tire at the time the "system reset" aka "initialize" is performed. Does anyone have any official reference that indicates otherwise?

The low tire warning has been on since I got it out for the recall. The sold me the 95k service where they check everything but the tire sensors. I may have to get rid of my car
