Hello everyone!

I would like to formally introduce myself after being a long time lurker and two time poster. A week ago I finally purchased my dream ride with one compromise (interior color, wanted blk) iended up w/ Ash but I can live with that for what I paid. The LS 430 is the nicest car I have ever owned, this car is better than I could have dreamed! All of the features and comforts are just incredible; I can't believe it is finally my car. It has been a long process of looking, going to different dealers and test driving. I went 11 years in a 97 4Runner SR5......



She served me well thru the years, now she will be making some one else happy. I sold the 4Runner last Friday, what a releif in this bad market for SUV's. Now for my waxed uped & tinted main man "Flint".......

Very niiice LS! Flint Mica is my favorite color (thats what I have). I've got the chrome, but I think the brushed metal wheels look very classy (maybe better then mine ) Welcome to the forums.

Super nice ride. I love my LS too. About the PCS, the pic on "KILLERGS4" shows the PCS part he is referring to. (Although I am sure most of you know that.) I didn't know it at first because I was a Noob at Lexus owning. Depending on where Tee purchased his Lexus from, he may have been told otherwise. When I first started to shop some of the models didn't have the "Parking sensors" in the front bumper and others did. I asked one of the salesman what those were because I had only seen them on the rear of other vehicles and he told me that was part of the Pre-Collision System. Being a Noob at Lexus owning, all I could do was take his word for it. That's the part that sucks when the salesman is either ignorant or just plain dishonest. In any case Tee, you have a super nice car and you have every right to be proud. Welcome to the Club, I am a new Lexus owner myself.

PS: From the look of it, it doesn't seem to have PCS installed.

 

No Pcs......i think it is a modern luxury.....custom luxury usually have black interior with burnt style wood!!....by the way lots and lots of good luck with your new car.....welcome to CL

 

if your LS doesn't have suede headliner, you did not get Custom Luxury... Also if your doors don't auto close, it's also not Custom... Damn salepeople dont know smack...

That plastic square plate that killerGS4 posted is the PCS which includes dynamic laser cruise.

The lower opening is the dynamic laser cruise only-custom or ultra luxury only, not modern:

I have corrected my post to ML form CL, the sales guy said it was a CL PCS. I guess i have a bone to pick with him when I see next time, after reading the packages it is a ML. Anyway i'm missing a few toyz i thought i had but still a happy LS owner, also now i know why i do not have headlamp washers. I bought my wife a 08 RX 350 about three month's ago, and hers have that nice feature.

I do have a few questions.

How can i get the turn signal mirrors like the ones in Japan of across the pond?

What mods are available? (pros & cons pls)
