hey man....i have the tein cs nd i cant stop saying good things about this suspension....give you the soft stock ride at a lowered height at the same time when you take turns, you have more control!! best of both worlds!!!

To lower, it maybe better to have coilovers. However, the ride on springs is much more forgiving, unless you want to dump it.

There is also the issue of prices, as there is a huge gap. Really depends on what you want from the drop. If you just want to go really really low, regardless of ride, springs might be a better chance.

But coilovers provide a balanced ride, with adjustability of damping and height.

any pics of your car ?

it's weird, I've seen some tein CS with barely any drop, and I've seen a few with a really nice drop. I don't know.

hey guys, I noticed the tanabe coilovers have a much higher spring in comparison to the Tein CS

tanabe = 12K front and 10K rear
Tein CS = 6K front and 4K rear

the tanabe's are much stiffer. what u guys think ?

i think motohide has the Tanabes and changed the rear spring to a softer one...he said it was too stiff in the rear

softer spring rate means more comfy ride...but you can always adjust the dampening for a firmer feel

allrighty guys, I think I'm going to wait and go for a full tap set up.

after careful evaluation, I just don't feel comfortable running a one way coilover set up at it's lowest drop setting resulting in minimal strut rod travel.
