I never realized that it takes minutes to raise and lower a UL with this controler. Is there any way to speed up the process?
Excellent writeup Airtime! When I get my LS430, I will be using your step by step how to.

Very nice install...very clean looking...
I had originally planned to mount my controller in that exact spot, but as you indicate, it would have required cutting into the air duct. I passed, not really sure how to do that without compromising the area. What did you do to close up the the cut into the duct? Also, what wood dash kit did you end up getting (which manufacturer/distributor)? Nice match. On las question is what is the switch next to the controller and does the green indicator light go along with that switch?

I just had my car for an oil change, and my mechanic scanned the codes off the OBDII port. It says the stiffness setting on my air shocks is at 17? This is the stiffest setting I guess?
Anyone have a clue as to why this may be? I don't think it's possible to change this via the ASC680 controller, or is it?

New Insight
I have some new insight on the rear suspension. I had always wondered why on my datasystem controller, on the valve screen, that all the indicator bars for the height of the car are not even. I had thought that the datasystem overrides my manual adjustment via twisting the tie rods for the front and slide bar for the rear sensors. Now I came to realize that any manual sensors settings are in addition to the datasystem settings. I played around today and found that I can drastically lower my car more by sliding the rear sensor bar to the extreme. So my normal driving 5 setting is way more lower (simular to a 7 setting). and when changed to a 7 setting, now is more like a 9 setting.
So when we give each other hints on what settings we are driving at, its pretty much a crap shoot as our sensor setting could be anywhere from normal to extreme. I thought I just throw this out there.

I just wanted to give thanks to Airtime for this write-up. I installed my controller months ago and would have never known to slice the speed sensor harness without this "how-to". VERY informative!
