The owner's manual says,

"If the temperature does not appear on the display or it shows ”– – –”, take it to your Lexus stealer."

Has this happened to anyone, if so how do I DIY and fix it?

Okay, so I reached around and found the sensor disconnected, but I have no clue where it's suppose to connect to, anyone with a half simple diagram they can point me to?

Im not sure, just have to search around. Did you buy the car like this? or has the car been serviced in that area recently?

Problem solved, new sensor for 25 bux at the Lexus dealership solved the issue
