Default Proud New Owner!!

Well after many quesitons to this forum I finally found a great 04 LS!

I am a current owner of a GS400, but have upgraded.

Here is the scoop:

2004 Lexus LS430 Modern Lux. Package
55,000 Miles
1 Owner (Carfax and Autocheck Clean and service history)
Southern Car (no snow and salt!)
Very Clean
$28,900

Found it in Atlanta area on Cars.com. Asked a lot of questions and finally flew down, looked at it and bought it. Drove it back to Ohio!

Here is the first of a few pics!

Thanks for everyone's help and answering many questions. I love the Bluetooth and the Smartkey, not to mention the best ride ever!

Mike

Congratulations-- enjoy

Might I ask -- what was the car listed for? How much does one bargain versus pay the listed price?

What made you pick this one? How did you fond the price spread in LS430's ?

Regards

Car was listed at $31K, then reduced to $29,900 and I had talked to them multiple times about pictures and condition. Talked to $28,900 pending my review and got on a plane and took a chance.

I did do a Carfax and Autocheck on the VIN and had the local Lexus dealer run the VIN for their maint. records. It was a one owner with all service completed at the deal that the car was leased from.

I saw the price range from $27,900 to $33,000 for similar milage. The one with $27,900 was a price I talked a dealer in Chicago down to (just $1-2K off what he had it listed for) and it was originally purchased in Chicago and 1 owner - just a little scared of how much snow and salt that car had seen.

I also had a local dealer with an '05 with 30K miles that wanted to sell it CPO'd for $38,900 and that was as low as they would go. I drove the car and looked it over - I believe the one that I purchased is in better shape!

So for a $10,000 savings I purchased this car. I am VERY happy and I went through and pushed every button.

I bought this from a car dealer called Atlanta Auto Broker (found the car on Cars.com) and dealt with Drew Lynch who kept promising me that I would not be disappointed and I was not. Very nice straight shooter. Worked great with me on my inbound flight and pickup at the airport. Their web site is: http://www.carswholesale.com/

Hope this helps!

Thanks all - This forum is great! What a huge help it has been on finding out information on the car.

It did come with just one key, but via this forum, I found a key and how to program it. So I will be ordering one soon!

Default Quick Update!

Just wanted to brag on these cars!! I flew to Atlanta and bought my car and drove it back to Columbus, OH and loved the drive. I have had it for a couple of weeks driving around town and love it.

I just had to go out of state for a death in the family and drove 6.5 hours down on Sat. and back on Sunday evening. This car is the best I have every driven!!!!!!!

I had a couple of BMW's (540 and 745) and this is just a dream at any speed. The comfort and power are great and all the features are fantastic. I had a GS400 prior to this car which was very nice, but this is great car. Just had to sound off on how much I am enjoying this car. Thanks again for everyone on this board!

If you are on this board and thinking about getting a LS 430 - stop thinking and BUY!!! This will give you more time to enjoy this great car.
