Wish to know what the latest upgrade is for the Navigation system in 2001 LS 430 and any pitfalls for ordering and installing.

There have been and continue to be many threads regarding this subject. Here is one for example.

The most current version is 7.1 but as Grand LS 4 says:

"Make sure you get the newest 7.1 version for the Gen 2/3 navigation." and

"The current version was JUST released, its the 7.1 version. Can be had for $260 from Sewell @ ww.lexus-parts.com use coupon code CL911m for the Clublexus discount."

You can find out the installation process in the same manner by doing a search.

Thanks, Garry. I appreciate your response and will contact the location you suggested since Jax charges $325.00. They did say, however, that a new version would be out in a couple of weeks. I'm wondering if the version 7.1 is a Spring release. Thanks again.
