Default What are ya'lls thoughts on GREEN tint?

I have been looking at VIP cars in Japan, and the green tinted started to grow on me a little. I have a black 01 LS430. What are your guy's opinion? Should I go w/ regular tint? Or stay tintless?

Not everything VIP looks good

Charcoal tint is the best IMO on black cars.

I've always been a little turned on to the light baby blue looking tint that some of the MB use. Not really tint...but looks clean

anyone using a 35% tint or lighter on their cars? i got charcoal tint, but it turned out looking kind of green when it's out in the sun. if anyone else has light tint on their car without the green tint, please chime in on what kind of tint you guys used.

I thought I was the only one noticing the blue , it quite a look especially on white Benz. On another note, the newer Benz and BMW with its UV windshields always reminds me of a tint gone bad, as it turns purple.

I lived in Bangkok for 10 years. Went through different brands of tint and foudn that 3M does not turn purple in prolonged exposure to the sun. Also found that a company called Lumina produce inexpensive good quality tint. One great tint is V-Cool, it's almost invisible (clear), yet it blocks out the UV and heat extremely well.

During the 10 years, I had three different MBs, the W124 (CE), W210 and W211, E-Class. The W210 had green-tint and the W211 had blue-tint. I much preferred blue tinted windows, somehow, contrary to researches on colors, blue is more pleasing and relaxing to my eyes. For MBs in Thailand, Blue-tint comes with MB models that are more luxurious. Let me put that into LS430 term: The Modern Lux has green tint , and the UL has blue tint... (sort of a metaphor, just to put it in LS430 terms...)

I photoshopped a LS430.. to compare different tint colors. Which looks best?

i think blue and green tint is pretty cool on only white cars, not black. Black cars needed to be triple black! Black windows, Black interior, Black exterior IMO

I think it depends on the car, I have seen some cars that look great with the green tint and others that don't. Take a look at g-answers site, their aero section has a nice selection of cars almost all with green tint.
