sirius or xm
i am just purchasing a 2004 ls 430,what is this car wired for ,i have a sirius subscription,can i use it on this car or what do i have to do,it has an antenna above the rear window,also has navigation if that matters,thanks bo

think that antenna above the back window is for the nav sytem,,
I have XM in my car and the dealer placed a small black box 2'X2'X1"tall on the front lip of the trunk lid on the outside,, everything works through the nav system panel as well as displaying the title of the music and the singer or author,,
do no tknow how they would do SIRIS,, would think they have something very similiar to handle the reception,,

I'm pretty sure its wired for XM only. I think you can do Sirius in 05's. I have a lifetime subscription with Sirius but had to put XM in my 04 LS. If you decide to add it, check out this site, http://www.vaistech.com/ They sell the components that install behind the radio rather than having to go through a dealer for the trunk option. Works great. They also have a unit for an iPod.
